Application Password crack
Hi,
Recently someone has put on an application password on our Insight Manager server (no one seems to know who, what and when). Does anyone knows a way to reset/crack the application password as the only way out is to uninstall and reinstall but losing all the configuration.
Unless there might be a way to backup the config remotely?
Thanks in Advance.
Anton

Re: Application Password crack
Password is hashed in a file called cimdat.db in the root of the Insight Manager directroy in Program Files. Deletion will require re-installation, but if you can find a copy from a non-passworded pc and copy it in to replace the existing file, it should open without the password request. Mark.
