Beginning Basic Question => Insight Manager Queries

I am new to Insight Manager 7 but believe I have the initial stuff setup correctly. I have devices listed. I am playing with queries because I would like to be notified when things go down. In order to see if the queries are working correctly I set one up to return results when the NIC status on one of my servers is good (NIC Interface Card OK). I figure if I get results here, which I should, I know I am using queries properly. When I setup the query I tell it to look for device by name and check the server I want it to look at. I then tell it to look at event by type and set that to NIC => Network Interface Card OK (ver 2) and Network Interface Card OK (ver 2.2).

When I run the query I get no results. What am I doing wrong? I know the NIC is functional on that box.
