Can not login to Insight from Windows 2000/

Pls help.
I have installed CIM 7 on windows NT.However when I try to access it from Browser from any of the Windows 2000,I can not log in it.I tried all the basic things like Java version/cookies enable/low security but no luck.It also does log login activity.
I can access from any Windows NT M/C.
pls let me know if somebody has experienced the same problem.
Thank you

What's happening when you try to log in? Any error messages? Do you get the login page at all, or just nothing? Do you get any java errors? Any more information you can provide would be helpful.

Re: Can not login to Insight from Windows 2000/

Thank for the reply.when I enter username and password it again gives me logon screen. No errors. If I don't specify username then It gives me error that you should specify username.I am using correct username and password since I can get the access if I try from NT machine.

Re: Can not login to Insight from Windows 2000/

Okay. In the lower-left corner of the browser window (assuming you're using IE) is there any sort of a warning indicator, or does it just say "Done"? I'm still thinking that you're getting some sort of error message. If not, then the other thing I'd try is logging in from an NT machine, simultaneously, and looking at the authentication logs to see if there's any record of the attempt. Also, check the server logs on the CIM server itself, and let us know if there are any entries of note.

One other thing that I meant to add to the above message. From an NT machine, go into Settings -> Security -> Audit Settings, and set it to log all login and logout activities. Then, check the logs and see what you get.

Re: Can not login to Insight from Windows 2000/

I would suggest uninstalling and re-installing the Java Runtime Environment. <>

See if that helps.
