Can't login to IM 7 Sp2 server through brobser

I've installed Insight Manager Sp2 on my proliant DL 380 server. Install was without problems and there are no errors in server logs. But I'm having problem with login. When I'm trying to access my server
through browser I'm redirected to login screen. After I enter my login credentials next page appears with blue bar on top of
it. Lower page part displays error message that page can not be found, so I can't see anything:( What I'm doing wrong. I can't
access my server through browser:( Thanks. Besides page can't be found I can see error windows, something like null is null or not an object. So question is: what must I do to be able to login without any problems? I tried to login through IE 5.5 and 6.0 with all security zones set to lowest possible level. Where is my mistake? Thanks.

Hi Rimvydas,

after you entered the login information├в s the IM7 will check if you have the necessary Java Version installed. If you don├в t have Java 1.3.1_02 for IM7 SP2 or 1.3.1_08 for IM7 Sp2.1 IM7 will offer you to install Java. For reasons I don├в t know that fails sometimes and ends in the results you got.
Download the necessary Java Version from SUN and install it manually. After that try again, it should work than.

Disregard Paul's post about going to SUN's website and downloading a version of java. IM 7 sp2 will only work with a specific version of java that is installed for you at the time that you're trying to log into the IM7 sp2 web interface.

This is what you need to do. The issues that you're having typically means that you have at least two or three versions of JRE installed. Remove all version of preciously installed JRE. You can do this by going to add/remove programs in the control panel. remove all versions of JRE. Once done, reboot your machine. When your machine comes back online, login to the IM7 sp2 Web interface and it will prompt you to install the correct version of JRE for IM7 sp2. when prompted with the browser platform that you want java enabled for, do not check any of the boxes. This will cause IM7 to properly select the correct version of JRE that it needs.

Follow the same step for any other apps that you have that requires java.

Let me know how you make out.

I had the same problem but it was not the java problem. When you install CIM the regional settings on your server must be set to US english. That solved my problem.

Yes, the problem was in regional settings. When I set up English settings all problems dissapeared.
