CIM V7 will not run after install

CIM V7 will not run after install

I've installed CIM V7 and after a reboot on the initial configuration all i get is

The insight manager service is not running. If this system has just been rebooted, it may take several minutes to start.

It then tries to start it but with no success. I am also unable to start it manully. It starts then stops straight away.

Is your SQL database/CIM service running under the right credentials?

both logged in as administrator, i presume thats right

Support for IM7 ends 31 May 2005. I strongly discourage new installs of IM7 and wasting time learning about it and getting it configured the way you want. HP SIM 4.2 SP2 is available from http://www.hp.com/go/hpsim

i've tried HPSIM 4.2 but whatever PC i put it on it kills it. Tried it on a Dell P4 2GHz with 1GB RAM and the performance was awful. Also I kept getting checking http status when you try to load it
