Disable Paging and Alerting.

How do you temporarily disable paging and alerting in IM7. This was a useful feature of IM32 but doesn't seem to exist any more.

The way I temporarily disable alerting is by enabling teh Time filters feature in the notification task. Edit the notification task that is setup to page or alert you, click on the checkbox next to: During the following times:[green denotes selected times]

then in the time filters portion select never. This will gray out the schedule tinme on the right. See the attached screenshot

Thanks.. Seems a long way round of doing things though especially if you have a large number of users that will receive alerts. I can't understand why this functionality was taken away.. maybe the next version will reinstate it.

I know it's a pain in the ass, but I have not find an easier way short of just removing the device that you want to disable alerts for from the Event query that it is part of. This also works well for me if I need to just disable alerting for just one device out of many.
