Eventlog: Insight Manager - ODBC

We get the following errors in the applicationlog of our Insight Management 7 SP2 Server:

Description:
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Invalid length parameter passed to the substring function.

This Error occours 2 or 3 times a day.

System: Windows 2000 Server SP3
Database: MS SQL 2000 SP3
System: DL380 G2

Anybody knows this error?

We have the same isue, Also with 100% CPU for several minutes.
Any luck resolving this problem yet?

I noticed that this happens every time the historical data collection task is run.
Something to do with the sp refresh reports?

we migrated to HP Systems Insight Manager so we got rid of this Problem
