how to create a scheduled sql query to the CIM v7 database in order to create automatic reports

I would like to generate automatic inventory report files. I have Insight Manager 7 under W2000.
I think about doing this with a scheduled job. This would contain sql query to the CIM repository database and so display these information in well-done format (CSV or Excel).
I don't know the name of tis database and how to do this.
Have anybody any experience about that (script, procedure, ...) ?
