How to set Processor Thresholds
I would like to know how to set thresholds for all of the processors on all of my servers, whether by creating a task or some other quick and easy way (if possible)... thx

Re: How to set Processor Thresholds
I don't think there's a control task which will let you set processor thresholds. The only way that I know of is to go to each server's device home page, drill down to the processors (under performance) and then set the thresholds manually.

Re: How to set Processor Thresholds
Ok, so it turns out that my first answer was correct for CIM7 SP1, however that's been changed in CIM7 SP2. You can now create a control task in SP2 to set CPU, Page File, and Cache thresholds on multiple servers. What you'll want to do is configure one server exactly the way that you want them all to be. Then, create a new Group Configuration Control Task, and point it to that server you configured, as the server to pull the info from. Then, you can push out the settings, including thresholds, to all of your other servers, based on the query you use. I hope this helps!
