Solution
There's not a lot of difference between the two to be honest, we use Insight Manager on our Compaq/HPs and OpenManage on our Dell servers.
The best way to get a comparison would be to get the datasheets / advertising blurbs from both as they list their functions and quite often compare themselves against each other.
OVO is a different tool, I've spoken to both HP and Dell techs and they say that neither Insight Manager or OpenManage could replace OVO as they are primarily hardware monitoring. OVOW has lots of integration for Insight Manager and some for OpenManage. Dell does an integration pack for OpenManage and OVO & NNM.
