IM7 & Netware Volume Threshold Not Creating Traps.

I have HP-MA 6.3 and Netware 6.0.3 I have set up Warning and Critical Thresholds. Noting Happens when the Volume passes the Threshold. I would like it to forward a trap ti IM7 and then send a notification. But there is no event in IM to trigger anything. Any Ideas?

It's the Agent that send the trap to the IM Server.
So, SNMP needs to be configured to send traps to the IM Server. I don't know how you do it under Netware, but under Windows there's a SNMP Trap send program as part of the HP Management Agents GUI. This just generates a Generic Trap which IM will register as an event.
There's also a setting somewhere in IM to allow unregistered events (under settings/Server/Events Filtering)

Yea, I have it setup to send the traps to the IM server and I checked Unregisterd events. No luck. It almost seems like the Agents are not sending a trap. Do you know if I should see an Icon next to the File System Space Uses, under mass storage that indicates when there is a warning, or critical.

You should see Slider bars on the File Space display and be able to move these to the thresholds you want.

If you cannot, generally indicated by a lack of a Save Thresholds Button, you do not have Write Access. You'll need to set up a new SNMP Community on the Agent Server that has read / write access. The IM Server also neesd that Community name.

Got it. Something more sinister... Novell Does not support using a DNS name in the SNMP Trap Target file. doh. Thanks for your help.
