Inisight server not aware of events
We have a new Insight server installation. We have noticed that Insight is not aware of hardware events, say when a server's drive fails. The only time we receive any notification of server issues is when a machine goes down or reboots. When that happens we receive an alert that a machine is not responding to pings.
We also had to populate Insight manually. It would not discover servers with Automatic Discovery.
So it appears that Insight and the servers are not talking to each other. Do you have any thought on why that would be?All the servers have SNMP installed and worked with our old Insight server. We built a new server with the latest version of Insight (Off 7.30).
Thanks for any input..Roger
