Installation of the 7.4 Insight Agent and applet "CQMGSERV.EXE" is consuming 30% processor time slot. Reverting back to the 7.3 agent reduces the processor usage to approx < 1%. The hardware spec is as follows: DL 380 G3 Windows 2000 - SP 4

I've spoken with HP, and they state that this is a known issue, and they are working on a fix. Im the meantime, their official answer is to use 7.3 on all Win2k servers.

I have a case open with HP regarding this issue and a member of the escalation team has responded asking me to remove the System Information subagent from the active list (making it inactive). After restarting the Insight Manager agents, CPU usage returns to normal. They are still debugging the issue.

If the "System Information" subagent, located within the SNMP details are disabled, then what information is not sent to HPSIM i.e. Does HPSIM continue to report failed status properly?

I have a 530 G2 running Win2K SP4, and it is having the similar issue. I have down-graded the PSP to it's original version 7.20 but that did not resolve sluggish performance. Does anyone have anything in writeing from HP?
