Insight manager upgrade

I am currently running Insight manager 7 SP1. I would however like to upgrade to HP SIM. In order for this I first have to upgrade to 7 SP 2.3. SP2.3 is available for download but it can only upgrade from 2.x to 2.3. Does anybody know where I can obtain the software to upgrade from SP1 to any of the 2.x versions or does anyone know of another process except fresh restart as I do not want to lose the database information.
