Integration of SSM with IM LC
I've read everything about integration of SSM with IM in SSM manual, but it's not working. After choosing "Update PC->Update Software" I get information "The console's attempt to build the database failed. Enter console name."
SSM Filestore is C:\Program Files\Compaq\LCRMS\Scripts, it's shared as FileStore, there are SSM.bin, SSM.cab, SSM.exe, SSMClient.exe, SSMCVA.mdb, SSMCVALC.mdb, GetConfig.exe and SoftPaqs with *.cva files.
Please, give me hand with it.

Re: Integration of SSM with IM LC
On the system where you are running Insight Manager AC have you loaded the Combined Console Softpaq (SP16642)? Have you also loaded (prior to loading Combined Console) the Combined Client Softpaq (SP16622)? To load (properly) the Combined Console Softpaq you must first load the Combined Client Softpaq. To install the Combined Console Softpaq a DIM 2.0 compliant agent must be previously installed. Installing the Combined Client will do this. After you have installed these two softpaqs you should be able to put SUM compliant softpaqs into the Filestore directory. Find a system that has been discovered by LC and that is FULLY Managed. Click on this system and then click on Update PC->Update Software. This will cause LC to rebuild the Filestore database. A list of the appropriate Softpaqs available in the Filestore that are applicable to the chosen system should be displayed.

Re: Integration of SSM with IM LC
The most funny thing is, that I had SP16622 and SP16642 installed in proper manner (16622 first). After your response I removed ALL Compaq software (Client, Diagnostic Agents, etc.) and installed it again. And I don't know why, but it's working.
Thank you for your help and positive fluids ;-)
