MIB Registration Problem - Failed Registration: 'null'

I'm having problems loading MIBs for 3COM equipment into CIM 7 SP2. 3COM has a very detailed document on which MIB's are mandatory. I receive an 'RFC1902.MIB' Failed Registration: 'null' error message when I try to register RFC1902.MIB and the exact same message (referring to RFC1902.MIB) when trying to register additional MIBs that they deem mandatory. I am new to MIB's. Can someone shed some light on this?
