Newer Java RunTime already installed
On one of our management computers the Sun Java Run-Time 1.4.1 is already installed. When accessing Insight Manager SP2 it still wants to install Run-Time Version 1.3.1. Can this behaviour be changed? Or should we work with two Java Runtimes?

Re: Newer Java RunTime already installed
Insight Manager 7 will only work with 1.3.1. Yes, you can have multiple versions installed on the device. You probably will want to go into Control Panel\Java Plugin utility and make sure under the Browser tab that Internet Explorer is NOT checked. By not being checked no JVM is loaded by default. When you browse to IM7 (or any other app), then the correct JVM will load at that time.
One thing to note, if you have multiple versions of the JVM installed, if you uninstall one version, you have to uninstall all versions (bug in the plugin uninstaller where it will remove dependent files). You can always reinstall the one you want...
