Ports and Protocol for Version Control Agent

We have HP Proliant servers in both local network and dmz network. Which port should be open over firewall between local and dmz network? Both way communication of SNMP and HTTPS?

Re: Ports and Protocol for Version Control Agent

Standard for SNMP.
2301 and 2381 for the HTTP / HTTPS Access.

This needs to be both ways between the Server in the DMZ and CMS.

Re: Ports and Protocol for Version Control Agent

Thank you. We have currently one way SNMP and HTTPS ports open from local to dmz. That's why the server in DMZ can not access to IM7's Repository Manager.

Yes, it needs to be both ways for the HTTP / HTTPS as it needs to come back to get to the repository.

Re: Ports and Protocol for Version Control Agent

I wish to add that without HTTP port 2301 Version control Agent can not communicate to the repository. Evrything else (i.e. Agents)works without any problem.
