rib card and PcAnywhere
working with PcAnywhere and remote lights out (rib) card installed, makes the work on PcAnywhere slow, compare with server without rib card.
we have DL360, DL380, 1850r, proliant 8500, all server behave the same to the above issue.
what can we do to resolve this issue?

Re: rib card and PcAnywhere
I would recommend dumping the PC Anywhere and using just the Remote Lights Out card. If you check there is conflict using the two programs on the same server. I believe the Lights Out is much more secure then the PC Anywhere.

Re: rib card and PcAnywhere
Security is not an issue here, and working with the RIB is slow,
PcAnywhere is faster, especially if you managing 65 servers.
I know there is a conflict using the two programs,
is compaq aware of this issue and working to resolve it?

Re: rib card and PcAnywhere
We're also facing the same issue here with our data center. We've spent quite a bit of money on rib cards and at this time it feels we've spent quite a large amount of money for a product that saves us a 2 minute walk into the data floor to manually reboot a box. For everything else, PC anywhere is a far superior product. Is compaq working in any way to resolve this?
