Servers not appearing in Insight Manager

Hi ,

Some servers are not apearing after automatic discovery, we are running Insight Manager 7 SP2 and have WinNT and Win2k servers I have even tried restarting the Compaq Foundation and Web Agent services on the servers but they still dont appear in Insight Manager the other servers do appear fine. any ideas??

First check that SNMP community strings on the servers match those on IM7.
Enable SNMP Trap Autodiscovery on Settings-> Discovery -> Autodiscovery page
Try to send a test trap from the servers Control Panel -> Agents -> Send test trap

Is there any results after ?

Could be that they are discovered but not recognised as servers - have a look at the Devices -> Total
