Hi All
I need to centraly store ILO Login Events...
I tried to forward snmp Traps from the ILO to the central SIM Server...but unfortunately I get only a trap after 3 unauthorized login attempts.
Is it possible to get traps also in case of succesfull ILO Logins?
Thanks in advance!
Viktor

Solution
The feature is designed to only send traps on unsuccessful logins. You can set it to 'Enabled -- Every Failure' by visiting the Administration tab and selecting Access (under Settings) and switching to the Options tab in the document area.
Your other option (if you have an Advanced license for iLO) would be to switch to ActiveDirectory authentication; all activity would then be centralized in AD.
The only other thing you could do would be to gather the information through the scripting interface, although that wouldn't show up in the Events subsystem in HP SIM.
http://www.hp.com/go/ilo --> Documentation for "HP Integrated Lights-Out Management Processor Scripting and Command Line Resource Guide for HP Integrated Lights-Out versions 1.82 and 1.91 and HP Integrated Lights-Out 2 versions 1.1x, 1.2x, 1.3x, 1.70, 1.75, and 1.77"
http://www.hp.com/go/ilo --> Sample Scripts and download the zip file for the XML sample called 'Get_iLO_Log.xml' The log you download will have ALL iLO events, so a script might be in order to only preserve logins.
