HPE Servers - Managing RAID from the OS?

Quick query. What's the go to way to manage RAID for HPE servers from the OS (Windows in this case).

I've always been an HPE guy but have started working with Dell and the fact you can do all the RAID configuring from the iDRAC is so refreshing. I don't believe HPE offer this functionality (might be wrong feel free to correct me).

Is there a supported way to configure HPE RAID from the OS? We used to use the HPE Storage Tool but I've found recently it never detects the RAID array and (possibly wrongly) been told it may no longer be a supported way of managing RAID from the OS.

Can anyone assist? (more than likely tell me I'm wrong and you can do it natively through iLO?)

Firstly I want ask yoiur server model and genaration. it will help to share right answar for quaries.

Currently there is two Application available for HPE Storage system. 

1.  HPE Smart Storage Administrator - for Windows Server for HPE Gen10+ and older Server with Smart controller.  Please check your server OS compatibility as per version. go to revision history for older version.

2. HPE MegaRaid Storage Administrator - for Windows Server.  for HPE Gen10 and Gen11 Server with MR controller. Please check your server OS compatibility as per version. go to revision history for older version.
