Has anyone seen the following error?
=============================================
>HPONCFG.exe /f delete_admin_user.xml /l log.txt
HPONCFG RILOE-II/iLO setup and configuration utility
Version 1.2 (c) Hewlett-Packard Company, 2005
ERROR: A general system error occurred while detecting iLO/RILOE-II
=============================================
Its not very informative, and I can't find any information on it on the HP website.

Solution
Sometimes when the utility cannot establish communication with the RILOE II/iLO, this error is displayed.
This usually happens when iLO/RILOE II is busy. So, waiting for sometime before you issue the next command will help.
Very rarely this error is shown for an driver IO error.

Re: HPONCFG errors
Also...
there is a newer version of the utility available; Windows 2003 link here: http://h18004.www1.hp.com/support/files/lights-out/us/locate/69_6220.html
Check that the current OS driver is loaded as well. You might want to install the current PSP from SmartStart or download that as well.
