iLO Amplifier Pack 1.55 - SMTP configuration
Hi,
We’re trying to configure Email alerting on our new iLO Amplifier installation but have been unable to provide a username to authenticate to our SMTP server.
Under Configuration and Settings > Alert Settings > SMTP Server Authentication, we’re only able to specify “From Email Address” and “Password”. Testing shows that the system tries to use “From Email Address” as the username once connected to our SMTP server.
For security reasons we don’t have the ability to change our UPN to our email address. Is there any way we can make the iLO Amplifier Pack use a different username rather than the email address?
For example:
Username: jsmith
Email: john.smith@example.org
UPN: jsmith@europe.ds.example.org
In this example, we would need the iLO Amplifier Pack to login to our SMTP server using “jsmith” as the username. Attempting to use “john.smith@example.org” would fail as it doesn’t match our username or UPN.
Any advice please?
Thanks.

Re: iLO Amplifier Pack 1.55 - SMTP configuration
Hi
In iLO Amplifier for Email Alerts there is only option availble is to enter the email address, However you can use other options available in iLO Amplifier for Email Alerts.
Please refer iLO Amplifier Pack 1.55 User Guide Page Number 121 to 122 for more information.
