Re: Unable to establish communication with iLo/RILOE-II
Kyle,
I personally worked the case and I'm drafting the customer advisory on the Nessus scanner issue but, before I submit it for review, I need to wait for confirmation from the iLO team on when the fix will be available.
Also, there is an iLO2 beta being tested by the customer who reported the issue and I want to give them more time to ensure the issue is fixed for good since, the hang has been very hard to reproduce for us.
I'm curious if what we fixed in iLO2 will also fix the issue you are experiencing.
What is the case number you logged with HP?

Re: Unable to establish communication with iLo/RILOE-II
Oscar,
The currently open ticket number is 4618231888-468
which refers to
4618230246
which HP closed about 4 minutes after I opened without contacting me with just "wrong site" for the comments. The one ending in 0246 also lists most if not all of my other ticket numbers that I have opened regarding this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Let me know what/if any more information you need. I will still keep checking with their network admins to see if they are doing any port scanning on these ILO IPs.
The ILOs are not isolated to their own network, so I am thinking they will be subject to any IP address range scanning that is being performed.
