2 Notifications upon recipt of SNMP Traps
I am getting two Notifications upon the recipt of an event. For example, if a hard drive dies, I get two of the same notifications that it has died, 2 more of the same notifications that it is re-building once I replace the drive. I really only need one notification that the server's HD has failed. Can someone please explain how to do this. Thanks

Re: 2 Notifications upon recipt of SNMP Traps
To clarification, I only need 1 E-mail for each event. Not 2!

Re: 2 Notifications upon recipt of SNMP Traps
So does that mean that for every event received by hpSIM there are 2 emails sent? Do you possibly have multiple addresses in the To: line or one in the CC: line?
If you are receiving 2 events in the hpSIM event system, the 2 most common things are having the server named twice in trap destinations (frequently both the DNS name and the IP address have been entered by someone) or having a RILOE card or iLO have the "forward SNMP traps" option enabled...

Re: 2 Notifications upon recipt of SNMP Traps
Thank you for the quick response.
There is only 1 E-mail address in the TO: and CC: lines.
Where do I disable that option for the iLO/RILO SNMP forwarding?
Thank you in advance.
