4.1 - No upgrade from 4?? Makes no sense

Why is there no upgrade option fro 4.0? To me this makes no sense whatsoever.
A big deal was made about HPSIM when it first came out. Now, there is an updated version and you cannot use it without redoing the whole install.

Is this true? You cannot do a out of the box upgrade from 4.0 to 4.1 without reinstalling everything, If so that makes no sense to me either?

I tried too. The install errors out that it is already installed. HP we could use some advice here.

Is the version that is available to download actually 4.1? It looks like you had a 4.01 version (according to the release notes). The actual version for the "4.1" download reads C.04.01.00.00. Is this correct for 4.1 or 4.01?

"One thing to be aware of: while the Data Migration Tool to upgrade to hpSIM from IM7 (Windows) and Servicecontrol Manager (HP-UX) is present, THERE IS NOT A FACILITY TO MOVE FROM hpSIM 4.0 TO 4.1. That capability has been holding up release of 4.1 and the decision was made to release 4.1 and follow it up with an update that lets 4.0 users move to 4.1. "

So that means we wait until they release a patch.
