Add Category for SNMP Trap Settings

How do I add new categories for SNMP Traps in SIM? In IM 7 SP2 there was at least the category "UPS" which is missing now.
Thanks in advance!

Do you have any devices that have been identified as a UPS? Options are displayed only for items in the database.

Re: Add Category for SNMP Trap Settings

Yes, I have devices identified as UPS.
In the category list in the SNMP settings I find only "ProLiant UPS events". This doesn't catch my needs because the devices are from a different supplier.

Re: Add Category for SNMP Trap Settings

Do you have MIBs from the manufacturer of your UPS that you can compile using the CLI? This will add whatever traps are defined in those MIBs. It might not put the new traps in a logical category, however - I know that the traps defined in my Inoculan MIBs went into the category "Unassigned."

The category "Unassigned" is exactly what I want to avoid. I have compiled and registered the MIB from APC without problems, but the category is unfortunately not UPS.
