Alert Configuration

Hi All

Am new to HPSIM. i had installed in discovered the some of the HP hardwares in our network, i would like configure alerts for the hardware, Could someone guide me or share any docs/links.

If you are running a different version, you should be able to find the download page for the appropriate version.

What you are looking for is the "automatic event handling" configuration. I am running an older version, but I get to this via
Options -> Events -> Automatic Event Handling -> Manage Tasks

Next, I would create a new task and select which events should be emailed to the addresses that you define

If you have not already done so, you will have to configure your email settings to define the SMTP server to send email through.
