Am running SIM v4.1 -
Am running into a roadblock, when attempting to register powernet364.cfg (compiled from Powernet364.MIB) -
Error: File 'powernet364.cfg' Error reading MIB: TRAP-TYPE: Invalid severity Line: 17721
AN ERROR OCCURRED EXECUTING THE COMMAND
Also tried an earlier version of APC's MIB, Powernet.MIB, with the same result (different line).
I've attached (hopefully) a copy of the powernet364.mib file, for your review -
Anyone got an idea as to what is going on, and how I can resolve this?

Re: APC MIB Problems - Powernet364.cfg File
APC uses different names for their event types. What SIM calls a "major" event, APC calls a "warning" event. Same thing for SIM "critical" events - APC calls those "severe" events.
I modified the attached mib file to fix this. I just ran mcompile on it and then added it to SIM4.1 using mxmib without any problems. Hope this helps.

Re: APC MIB Problems - Powernet364.cfg File
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS!!!
I've been beating my head against the wall for hours. This worked perfectly in HP SIM 5.1.
