Can't get WBEM working on a PSP 8.00 server

When I run Configure or Repair Agents, I get the following:

Configuration of agents started, waiting for it to be completed.
Configure Agents and Providers (START) ...
Subscribing to WBEM / WMI indications ...
Subscribe to WBEM / WMI Indications (DONE).......................... [FAILED]
Check whether target system met the requirements and all of the software require
d to support indications is installed.
WBEM protocol settings are not valid/enabled for this system in HP SIM. Check yo
ur HP SIM settings.
Send test WBEM/ WMI indication from the system (DONE)............... [FAILED]
CMS has to be subscribed for WBEM / WMI indications before it can receive a test
indication.

I've already verified the WBEM account settings are correct -- I use the global settings which work on all my other servers.

The only difference that sticks out in my mind for this server is that it already has PSP 8.00 installed whereas my other servers didn't when I was discovering them in SIM.

The hardware is a DL360 G4.

Installation details:

* HP SIM 5.2 is a DL360 G4p running Windows Server 2003 Ent R2 SP2.
* Back-end SQL 2005 DB running on Windows Server 2003 Ent R2 SP2.

The problem server is a DL360 G4 running Windows Server 2003 Ent SP2.

I've read http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?admit=109447626+1207404646686+28353475&threadId=1216521, but that didn't help -- I have the WMI Mapper installed. WBEM is working on my other servers.

Could this particular system have a firewall running? for WBEM/WMI to communication you need port 5989 open.

I just had exact same issue here, but on an HP-UX 11.31 blade server. I got it to work the 2nd time I tried it, by simply stopping and then starting the cimserver daemons on that (the HP-UX 11.31 system) server... Hope this helps!
