can't log into local machine agents after HpSIM install?
I installed HpSIM on a working machine (I was able to access the management agents prior to install).
After the installation, I have so far been unable to access or browse to my own machine. What I think the password should be, isn't. I can't reset them because I can't log in as admin, and I have no idea what they have been set to.
Any ideas what the passwords might be, or, how to set/change them?

Re: can't log into local machine agents after HpSIM install?
If you have another Server that has Agents with a known password you can copy the file:
c:\compaq\wbem\cpqhmmd.acl from the good machine to the one not working.
This will correct the password problem.
If you don't have that, use the RDU to configure the Agents and re-install them from the RDU.

Re: can't log into local machine agents after HpSIM install?
Thanks for the solutions.
FYI, I did figure out what the default administrator password was ("administrator"). Interesting, though, that the HPsim install changed it - I had it set to something completely different before the install.
