When I attempt to deploy the Proliant Support pack to a DL 360, it says status of 'running' but nothing happens.
On the server receiving the PSP, there's no activity what so ever, nothing.
On the console status window, it remains 'grey' and no text is displayed.
One of the things we've noticed was since the DL 360 doesn't have proper ILO, some of the packages within the proliant support pack depend on it therefore it looks to resolve the dependencies before continuing (this is with the GUI installation, having the smartstart CD in the drive, not via pushing it out).
Could it be that this is a known issue and we just cannot push out PSP if there are dependencies that need to be resolved.
Also, (bigger issue), we cannot get SNMP test traps to work.
We suspect that the reason for all of this is because the server is in it's own DMZ but the firewall guy assures us that he allows ALL traffic to go between the HP Sim server and the Server we are trying to manage.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!
