CIM 7 SP2
All,
When querying the CIM 7 database, I am finding inconsistencies with regard to server models. If I query the expansion slots on the Proliant DL380 models, the G1 series returns information on every slot -- even the empty ones. The G2 and G3 series do not return a "Slot x ........ [empty]" for the expansion slots that are truly empty. Is there any way I can convince CIM 7 (or the G2 and G3 series) to return that info to the CIM database? I hate having to check the Survey.TXT on all G2 and G3 series. Thanks.

Re: CIM 7 SP2
I don't think that's possible using the generic IM reports.
But the new HPSIM reports a G2 a bit differently and does include the Empty slots. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to make too good a job of the G1 Display, there seems to be some additional "Empty" Lines.
I've only tested this on DL360 G1 & G2 but it should be similar for a 380.
