Configure and Repair Tool Fails to Deploy SIM Server Certificate

I have SIM 5.3 and have just discovered a number of ProLiant blade servers. I would like to set the trust relationship by certificate using the Configure or Repair Agents tool.

I run through the steps of deploying the SIM server's certificate to the managed systems, specifying the sign-in credentials that I used to discover the systems.

The task fails with the following message:

Windows configuration command (START)...
HP Systems Insight Manager was unable to install the target's HP Repair Tool ser
vice. This could be caused if another instance of the tool is currently running
. Retry at a later time.
Running the Windows based repair tool (DONE).......................... [ERROR]
Additional details above.

Can anyone suggest a remedy to this situation?
I'd really like to be able to do these in bulk.

Re: Configure and Repair Tool Fails to Deploy SIM Server Certificate

I just hit the same error yesterday. I found that it only seems to apply to certain Windows 2008 servers. At the moment I belive it to be an issue with the firewall, but cannot access the systems directly at the moment.

Will update later

Re: Configure and Repair Tool Fails to Deploy SIM Server Certificate

Not been able to absolutly prove this, but it appears that the W2K8 firewall is blocking ports 135 - 139 which seem to be needed by the config and repair agents tool.
