Data Collection retry was abandoned for this system

Hello All,

I started getting the following error after performing a 4.1 to 4.2 upgrade.
"Data Collection retry was abandoned for this system at the end of the timeout period"

I am receiving this error for every server. Any ideas?

How are you collecting the data? via the Agents or via WBEM?

Try changing a couple of Servers to NOT use the Global parameters and then set the System Parameters for SNMP etc. to higher values.

Any reason why the Servers may not be reachable at the time the discovery process runs?

I have not received another error like that since the first time after the upgrade. I can access the servers see there software and acces version control. It just seems odd that this error would display.
