Data collection was skipped for this system because the system is suspended or inaccessible.
Hello,
On some random devices managed in a SIM 5 SP2 system, I get the following error:
Data collection was skipped for this system because the system is suspended or inaccessible.
I have checked for both of these problems. The system is definetely accessible and I do not have it suspended. Now it may have been suspended at one time (for example many months ago) but it currently not.
Anyone else seeing this or know how to fix it. I have rebooted the servers in question and triple-checked all SNMP and trust settings. Everything is working properly and I can completely manage the devices other that do I data collection.
Thanks
Nelson

Re: Data collection was skipped for this system because the system is suspended or inaccessible.
I should add - I get this message when either a scheduled data collection job runs or I manually run a data collection job on the servers in question.

Re: Data collection was skipped for this system because the system is suspended or inaccessible.
It appears the servers were in a phantom suspended monitoring state. The icon for the servers showed "green", not the the typical disabled icon '/' when you suspend a server for monitoring. However, I went into the server and clicked "Enable monitoring of this server" and then I was able to do a data collection. Some field must have been stuck somewhere but the icon was not reflecting this.
