When I have installed the management agent on a system without configuration of the agent.
Does the administrator account has blank password on it?
Thanks, remco

Re: Default Password MAnagement agents
But does this mean we need to deinstall the management agents, and reinstall them again, to properly install them.
Thanks,
rEmco

Re: Default Password MAnagement agents
Hi,
AFAIK, you can use the hpwebsetup (located in /opt/compaq/foundation/etc) command to change the password, if you are under linux of course.

Re: Default Password MAnagement agents
I have tried uninstalling the Management Agents for servers (7.00.0.0) and re-installing to set a new password, but there doesnt seem to be a setting to change the password.
when visiting https://server:2381 i get a drop box of selecting user, administrator, operator, none of which i can successfully login with.

Goto http://h18013.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/WebDoc/700/psp-users-guide.pdf and lookup the term "preconfiguration."
