Dell PowerEdge 1750 and HP SIM

I have a very strange problem with HP SIM and PowerEdge 1750.

I have got the HP SIM to recognise Dell PowerEdge 1850 and 1950 via WBEM, and under server's "Properties" HPSim can see two physical disk drives on each server --- Happy with this.

However, using the same method on PowerEdge 1750, only one physical disk drive is seen. Checked the Dell Array Manager and it is happily showing the RAID1 set with 2 disks.

All the SNMP string and password are the same. Deleted them from HP SIM and manually discovery them, but same result.

Does anyone know what might that be?

Thanks,

Gus

Did check the difference between 1750 vs 1850-1750, there might be a problem with the mib's or missing the mib that is difference between them.

Thanks for the reply. They are the same MIB files from Dell website. What else could it be?

The issue is going to be in how Dell is presenting the array to the OS via WMI (WBEM). Most likely Windows only sees the array as one physical drive.
