Device discovery

Device discovery is setting the system name to the host name portion of the system's FQDN. Is there a way to rename these? I have tried using a hostfile to specify the desired names but each time I import it, it keeps setting the system name to the host name.

currently the only way to override DNS is to add entries to the Windows hosts file and then delete and rediscover the devices.

This file is located at

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
