(Device Major Error) on Power-Auxiliary Power with connected internally
We installed the lights-Out edition-II in our envoriment recently. On CIM7.2 console, we are getting (device Major Error) on Power-Auxiliary Power with connected internally. Is there issue with connecting the power internally?? If it is, how can I stop monitoring the power or Which mibs/thread monitor the Remote insight lights-ot edition-II.

Re: (Device Major Error) on Power-Auxiliary Power with connected internally
This is referring to the external AC adapter which you received with the card. Plug it in and the error will go away. This gives you access to the card if power fails to the system or in the power supply.

Re: (Device Major Error) on Power-Auxiliary Power with connected internally
Hi David,
Thank you for your response. Howerver your answer was of little help since I already knoew that. What I need to know is tjhe following:
Since I am using internal power for the card. Is is possible to remove the alerts for the external power connection or is it a must to connect the card to and external power source???.. Do you know Which MIB/Thread is responsible for monitoring the external power source???
Thanks
