Discovering SAN switches
We have HPSIM v5.0.2 running on a Windows box, I have installed Brocade SMI Agent on a proxy host that has IP connectivity to the (HP B-series) switches and the HP SIM box. We're using non-standard ports as HP SMI-S is already installed on that box for EVA discovery (which works).
On the system protocol settings page, WBEM settings for the proxy host in HP SIM I have configured the non-standard port number and username and password but only the host is discovered by HP SIM not the switches.
I have run Identify System and update Data Collection several times against the proxy host. Still no sign of the switches.
If I run wbemdisco from the HP SIM server with the same criteria (IP of proxy, namespace = interop, non-standard port num, username & password), it seems to return info about the switches.
Anyone have any ideas how I can persuade HP SIM to discover the same switches?

Re: Discovering SAN switches
A further note is that I see no attempts in the proxy host's security log to connect from the HP SIM box with the credentials of the SMI Agent, they only appear when I run wbemdisco manually. I think that means that HP SIM is not actually trying to connect to the agent.
