Downgrading or filtering events in Insight Manager
Is it possible to downgrade events or filter event so that they don't show up as critical or major but it doesn't affect other events.
eg: There is a server which does not have its 2nd power supply plugged in and it shows up as a power supply failure and a major event. We want to downgrade it to a minor event so that we don't miss any other events that may be masked by that particular event.

Re: Downgrading or filtering events in Insight Manager
Not to do what you want, you can change the severity of events, but that would change the severity of that event for all Servers.
To do that you go into Options->Events->SNMP Trap Settings.
From there you'll need to identify the MIB and select the actual Trap. You can then change its severity.
