Easiest way to monitor DL-585 hw issues?
I have 3 new DL-585's that I am setting up as ESX servers.
I would like to have the server's send out a warning when there is a HW issue...If a HD is failing or PSU is unplugged.
What is the easiest way to do this?
We run NetIQ as our monitoring tool.
I have tested installing the SIMAgents for VMWare and setup a test HP SIM server for alerting.
Also, can iLo do this type of HW monitoring and send out the same HW alerts via HP SIM?
Thanks,
-Matt

Re: Easiest way to monitor DL-585 hw issues?
i recommend using the SIM Agents for VMWare and send the SNMP Traps tou your Monitoring System. Also i recommend to use OSEM to intersept the Events: http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/svctools/OSEM/index.html
If you have done all this steps, it will be very helpfull to install ISEE to send the HW Events direct to the HP Support center.
For more infos on ISEE you can look an the hp Homepage:
regards
Maurice
