Is there a way of me finding out where the email notification is failing? I know I have everything configured properly. Even when I send a trap test, nothing seems to get out. I know the SNMP server is working, because we have traps from our network monitoring getting out.
Tried just about everything and the big boss wants to see results…
Thanks,

Solution
Hi John,
If events are being generated and sent to the CMS, you should be able to check the status of the automatic event handling task in:
Options -> Events -> Automatic Event Handling -> Manage Tasks
If a task here is set to email a notification, selecting it and clicking Task Results should show a breakdown of the steps involved?

Re: Email notification
Craig,
Thanks for the help. At least now I know where it's failing.
