Error en instalacion de Vulnerability and Patch Management Pack

Durante la instalacion de VPM obtengo el siguiente error:

"Product RMS not installed", service rms error (0x424)

Are you are installing onto a Windows 2000 system and running Active Directory?

Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition, member server.

I am having the same problem when trying to install the Patch Management Pack.

I am also Using Windows 2003 Server.

What is the RMS, I am having a problem finding reference to what piece it is even looking for.

Same error here... the microsoft link above doesn't address this particular problem.

Was Able to get it to load. Contacted HP and worked with them to find out that the password for the account you use to install, can not have special charcters.

The work around is to chang the password on the account, install vpm. I had no problems when I did that. Then change the password back to the original so HPSim will work again.

HP Says that the next release in april, will have the fix for this in it.
