Event Handling - system name does not start with..
Does anyone know if you can specify multiple strings in a given text entry field when specifying system name does not start with?
Example, I want to specify a dozen or more server name prefixes that I do not want to get paged on. It looks like I need to setup an individual entry for each string. I'd rather just enter a single entry that says if server name does not start with mltd or mltt or blah or blah.
possible or am I just lazy?
thanks for any insight.. :-)

Re: Event Handling - system name does not start with..
You might want to think about using a custom command instead. we have a similar requirement, although the server name is probably more variable.
I call a script which reads a text file that is just a list of servers to exclude. I can easily edit the text file to add / remove server names that I do not want to be alerted on.
This is easier than constantly tweaking rules in HPSIM.
