Event Name: Generic Unregistered
wff222222scla50,Generic Unregistered:,Event Name: Generic UnregisteredURL: https://wff222222scla50:2381/,Event originator: wff222222scla50,Informational,10-
We continue to get 100's of these Generic Unregistered Alerts on our HPSIM Version 5.1 with SP1 Build Version C.05.01.00.02.
Description: A genericUnregistered trap signifies that a system has sent a trap to the management server for a MIB that has not yet been compiled. Try compiling any MIBs from the vendor for this system to obtain additional information. See Details for more information. cpqGenEntOIDStr: 1.3.6.1.4.1.2592cpqGenTrapID: 6cpqSpecTrapID: 40
How do we go about trying to figure out what these Traps that is being sent to the HP Insight Management Server are so we can configure the MIB so we stop getting 100's of these alerts?
Thanks for your time and information.
