Event Notifier config or other monitoring option for DL380 G7
I have a handful of older DL380's I need to be able to get notifications in case of hardware failure. On the G6 and older systems, I've been able to run Event Notifier and simply put in an smtp server and email address and I'm good to go. I can't get the notifier to install on my G7 systems. As we're all working remotely these days, this has taken on some urgency. Please help.

Hello,
I hope all is well.
Please follow the below procedure to set the email notification.
Title: HPE Integrated Lights-Out 3 (iLO 3) - Configuration and Setup Instructions: Configuring The Static IP Address Using The iLO 3 RBSU on HP ProLiant Servers

Re: Event Notifier config or other monitoring option for DL380 G7
thanks for the reply. I already have ILO setup and there's no mechanism to configure email notifications that I can see. Am I missing something?

Re: Event Notifier config or other monitoring option for DL380 G7
So at this point I'd settle for being able to install and configure SNMP on the server, but I can't get any successful connections. It seems that the agentless managment binaries from cp030039.exe, but it won't install on my G7 running server 2016. Any idea which binaries will let me monitor the physical disk health?

Re: Event Notifier config or other monitoring option for DL380 G7
Hello,
Down load and install "HP Array Configuration Utility" from the HPE site ( the same place you download the driver) and it will show you RAID and drive health as well as you can see from the ILO page under the storage.

Re: Event Notifier config or other monitoring option for DL380 G7
thanks for taking the time to respond. I've already installed the Array utility. that's how I knew about the drive that failed last week. However, i have to manually monitor either ILO or the Array Utility on each G7 to get the drive and other health info. I need a way to have it either send emails like the Event Notifier that I use with the G6 or I need another solution such as sending SNMP messages to a collector. The problem I'm running into is that every package I try to install on the G7 throws an error that says it's either not compatible with the hardware or the prerequisite software isn't installed. I'm pretty much just going in circles here. I can't even install SUM on the G7.
