From HPSIM, click on the Server entry and look at the Events Tab, you should see the events generated for a particular Server.
I think threshold events are typically major, not critical.

You may want to check the MIB itself and modify it for a higher severity...

Are you saying that I need to configure the event notifier service on every server that I want to be notified from? Does this mean that if my notifier service is disabled that the managed tasks in SIM won't work?
Is the event notifier service independent of the SIM managed tasks?

There are lots of other MIBS that we would like to get emails from too, but they don't seem to work - only reachable / unreadable seems to email us! Maybe there is another setting!!
